Foreword
The Istanbul Hash House Harriers (IH3) is a social running club that emphasizes fun. Visitors/newcomers are welcome to join. We run on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month starting at 14:00 "Turkish time".

WHERE:From Levent go towards Sariyer,pass Maslak,turn left towards
Belgrad forest,pass the 1st aquaduct,before the Belgrad forest
entrance turn right into the village,go towards kilyos,at the
zekeriyakoy junction don't turn left continue straight,after 500m.
approx. turn right(dirty road),after 100mt look right for the
chariots.
TIME:13:00 at the meeting

DRESS CODE:To celebrate our 1200 run we will have a draw.
A draw with t-shirts that YOU gonna design and bring!
How?
Buy or ... a cheap t-shirt(M-L),draw/write anything you want to see
on a special theme(1200 runs)t-shirt(use your fantasy),bring it to
the run and at the start we'll have a draw so everybody is gonna wear
the special creation that another hasher made for him/her!
Let's give all our effort to make good ones!

41 degrees 07' 51.99" North
29 degrees 01' 38.87" South
Any bus heading north from 4 Levent along the Maslak. Over the TEM, past ITU University. Past the militay bases. Second turning on the right marked Durrusfaka keeping the woods on the left for about 300metres. Opposite the school a little red car will be parked. That is the meeting point.

Hashers started gathering in the square next to the Galata Tower around 14:00, and began waiting for former GM Seaman Staines who showed up about half an hour later, probably because he was getting ready for his great condom show. Then a great educational (how to avoid vanereal diseases?, what shall be done not to get raped while passing through the Zürafa (Giraffe) Street? etc. were the main topics.) run started."
Note: The GM should get multiple down downs for the non-functional hash camera !

VirginCaptain writes "IH3 r*n # 1194 started pleasantly enough at the British Embassy Summer Garden. It all degenerated from there. Door Mat and (barely) Erstwhile Erkal were the hares, if I dare to honor them with that appellation.
Prior to the r*n, as is his wont, Vacuum Cleaner, the GM, gave out his silly and obtuse awards. Dick Martin was the token American, Niagara proudly wore the horsey dick warmer, Virgin Captain braved the beauty cap and new cummers Ozgur and his girlfriend Onur aptly donned the inflated head. Who said “head”? The pack wishes these awards would disappear along with the GM. "

This run was well planned by Hare K-9 and co-hare Sercen and everything was going well until the beginning. Planned to start at 2 PM, the r*n started promptly at 2:40. With a BBQ to follow before the wintry sun set us into darkness without a paddle, K-9 was desperate to get started. But what with piss poor d-erections, many of the pack arrived at the wrong parking area and had to resort to GSM based instructions to get to where the hare should have been. Also, Bang Bang Lulu showed up last and late with an overloaded vehicle carrying most of the pack.
Finally the pack set off with Virgin Captain and his Hash Horn leading the way until he got lost. Apparently flour is precious in Istanbul as there were pitifully small amounts spread about on the trail.
At the first holding check, the FRBs and K-9 lay about for what seemed to be a prison sentence, until Door Mat showed up to take some notes. Vacuum Cleaner ambled up and lay about with us until he couldn’t stand it any more. He went On-Back to find and assist Queen Latifa to trundle her empty baby carriage up the hills and along the trail. Even Beer Birdy did not assist by riding in said carriage. BB insisted on being carried in Mum’s arms. VC (the GM not the HH) whined about the lack of strong volunteers to help with the child accoutrements, but then there were only Hash slackers there, so what would you expect? Child support may not be their fortée.
